Saudia, the National Airline of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, recently transferred three of its retired Boeing 777 aircraft from Jeddah Airport (JED) to Riyadh. There, they would be stripped of any remaining useful parts along with the fuselages and then used for a new runway known as the ‘Boulevard Runway’.

 

1. However, instead of taking a trio of wide bodies on a short flight between the two airports, the Aircraft were transported by road via some very large trucks.
